At LMTE Transport, you combine the operational responsibility as a transport manager with the strategic and commercial responsibility as a consulting director. You become the hub – with full control of today's transports while building and developing the consulting business going forward. LMTE Transport is a stable trucking company with roots dating back to 1987 and operations in road transport, freight traffic, and staffing. Responsibilities Plan, manage, and monitor daily transport operations to ensure delivery precision and cost efficiency. Handle contacts with drivers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal departments. Ensure compliance with laws, agreements, and safety regulations within transport. Lead, coach, and develop a team of logistics consultants (personnel responsibility, salary management, competence development). Drive sales and business development – identify new assignments, build customer relationships, and negotiate agreements. Set strategic direction for the consulting business and take responsibility for budget, results, and profitability. Act as a senior advisor to customers in complex logistics and supply chain matters. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a solid background in transport and logistics who is now ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You have experience leading employees and driving operations with results accountability. You are equally comfortable planning a truck shipment as presenting a strategy to the management team. You are business-minded, communicative, and have an easy way of building trust with both employees and customers. Requirements: Experience in transport management and/or logistics management. Experience with personnel responsibility and budget responsibility. Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Meriting: Experience from the consulting or staffing industry.
