Job Duties As a Consultant Dementia Care Nurse, you are a knowledge resource and advisor in the organization. Unlike traditional nursing roles, you work consultatively with nurses, assistant nurses, and other professionals to support and develop care for people with cognitive illness, which means you do not have patient responsibility. In the role, you will, among other things: Provide support and advice to staff, patients/service users, and relatives Mentor and educate staff in the dementia field Work consultatively on complex cases and contribute to coordination in the care chain Collaborate with Silvia sisters on person-centered dementia care Contribute to the development of working methods, knowledge, and quality – including work with BPSD and environmental monitoring The work involves a clear helicopter perspective where you get the opportunity to influence structures, working methods, and competence in operations throughout Malmö city. Qualifications We are looking for you who: Are a licensed nurse Have at least three years of experience working in the dementia field Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Have good understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines Have good digital competence It is meritorious if you: Are a specialist nurse in dementia or a Silvia nurse Have experience working with BPSD and complex care needs in elderly people Have experience from municipal health and care services Have experience in mentoring and education Have knowledge of the documentation system Procapita We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and enjoys sharing your knowledge.
