On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Consultant and Vendor Manager. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-09-14 and run through 2027-03-31. About the Assignment As a Consultant and Vendor Manager, you will play a central role between the organization's managers, external vendors, and procurement organization. You will be responsible for driving and ensuring quality throughout the entire process of the organization's need for external consultants – from incoming requests and requirements to sourcing, selection, extension, and closure. Your main responsibilities include: Manage the entire consultant procurement process, from incoming requests to completed assignments. Review and quality-assure consultant needs and clarify scope, requirements, and expectations. Challenge unclear requirements and support the organization in making well-informed decisions. Drive competitive sourcing through the organization's vendor network. Select and brief vendors and evaluate received consultant profiles. Compile relevant candidate selections and provide structured feedback to vendors. Support responsible managers in consultant selection and matters regarding fees and pricing. Contribute with price guidance and benchmarking to ensure good cost levels. Handle extensions, early terminations, offboarding, and compliance-related matters. Ensure correct administration, documentation, and traceability in relevant systems. Collaborate with procurement and other internal functions to develop processes and working methods. Work with KPI monitoring and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvements. Start: 2026-09-14 End: 2027-03-31 Scope: 100% Location: Stockholm About You We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements: Relevant experience in consultant procurement, staffing, vendor management, procurement-related recruitment, or equivalent. Experience with vendor dialogue and collaboration with various internal stakeholders. Experience coordinating processes from start to finish in a large or complex organization. Relevant academic education in, for example, HR, finance, procurement, or business development, or equivalent competence through work experience. Good business acumen and ability to balance cost, quality, speed, and regulatory compliance. Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Experience with KPI monitoring and reporting. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Application Does this assignment sound interesting?
