As a consultant and family foster care assessor, you'll work closely with our foster families and be responsible for recruiting, assessing, training, and providing support to foster homes. You'll play an important role in creating security and stability for children and young people placed in foster care. We complement municipalities' own options and provide specialist expertise, support, and experience in foster care services. You'll become part of an engaged work team that together works to enable safe and inclusive environments for our children. Your responsibilities As a consultant and family foster care assessor, you'll, among other things: Recruit, assess, and train foster families Provide support and supervision to foster families Follow up and ensure quality of foster care placements Contact and collaborate with municipalities, foster families, and other partners Work based on evidence-based methods Work both independently and together with colleagues Contribute to developing the organization's working methods and quality We're looking for you – a trained social worker We're seeking a trained social worker who wants to work in foster care services. You might be at the beginning of your professional career or have previous experience in social work – what's most important is your engagement, your willingness to develop, and your professional approach. You're confident in meeting with people and find it easy to build trusting relationships. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you have the ability to take responsibility, structure your work, and handle different situations with flexibility and persistence. Qualifications Social work degree is required Driver's license (Category B) is required Experience in social work is a plus but not required Good documentation skills are required Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing Before employment, you must provide a clearance from the police's suspicion and conviction registry.
