Norrängskyrkan is a vibrant and warm collaborative church between EFS and Lycksele parish, located in the heart of a residential area – close to school, preschool, and nursing home. Work tasks: • Together with your colleagues, you become an important part in developing and leading the parish's choir activities. You work with the children's and youth choirs Soul Kids and Soul Children, as well as with Soul Church services. Within the choir activities, you will conduct devotions, plan and lead services, and organize an annual choir trip. • You participate in driving work within School Church, youth leader training, youth services, and confirmation activities – with a focus on creating safe, engaging, and meaningful meeting places for young people. • You are responsible for developing activities for the age group 25–55 years. This can include conversation evenings, game nights, "Everyday Dinner," afterwork, and other low-threshold activities that create community in daily life. This involves evening work approximately once a week. • The position also includes assignments within EFS Västerbotten corresponding to up to 20%, where you could, for example, take on the role of camp leader at confirmation camps. • The position also includes administrative and technical tasks, such as responsibility for bookings of the church's facilities and for sound equipment, etc. Your contact points within the position are varied, and you work with people of all ages. You will work with Lycksele EFS association and with volunteer staff. We are looking for you who have… ● Education/work experience deemed relevant for the work tasks included in the position, for example as a parish educator, leisure educator, etc. ● An ability to work independently as well as in a group. You have initiative, work in a structured manner, and have good communication skills. ● A natural ability to lead and motivate volunteer staff. ● A B-category driver's license. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. We expect you to have a personal Christian faith and be a member of Svenska Kyrkan. Knowledge of EFS is a merit. Overnight stays and weekend work will occur within the position. Other employment information: Employment form: Permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period.
