Job Responsibilities:
As a senior wood structural engineer at Attacus Trähus, you will work with a focus on our wood structures: walls, floor systems, roof structures, noise barriers, beams, and columns. You will develop structural calculations, structural documentation, structural drawings, and some production drawings.
As a junior wood structural engineer at Attacus Trähus, production drawings are your main focus. Using modern tools, you work in a three-dimensional environment where development is moving forward rapidly. Your work results in the documentation your production colleagues use and continue to develop together.
In both cases, you will work in close collaboration with other functions in the company such as estimators, project managers, and production.
Your Profile:
To succeed in the senior role, you should have a civil engineering degree or higher education with relevant focus (construction, civil engineering, water management, or similar). You should have previous experience as a building engineer or building technician with good knowledge of wood structures and structural calculations.
In the junior role, you should be familiar with the building industry and have good computer skills, but your personal qualities are most important.
In both cases, experience from industrial production and knowledge of prefabrication are merits, but not requirements.
You are a collaborative person who is stimulated by working both independently and in teams. We believe you can make your own decisions and take your own initiative.
