About the Role As a design engineer at Värmebaronen, you'll become part of the development team where you work with both further development of existing products and creation of new solutions. The role is broad and varied and includes everything from product improvements and customer customizations to development of completely new products. In addition to development work, you contribute with technical expertise to the business and ensure that products meet relevant requirements, standards, and quality standards. You work closely with both development and production, which provides short decision paths and the opportunity to quickly turn ideas into practical solutions. The role is production-oriented and you get the opportunity to follow products through much of the development process – from design and testing to finished product. For the right person, there is also an opportunity over time to take greater responsibility within the development team and contribute to the team's continued development. In the role you will, among other things: Design and develop products in Inventor Further develop the existing product range and develop new solutions Work with customer customizations and special solutions Participate in testing, verification, and product improvements Prepare technical calculations and design documentation Ensure that products meet relevant requirements and standards Collaborate closely with production to develop manufacturable solutions Contribute technical expertise to support and other parts of the business About You We're looking for someone with experience in mechanical design who enjoys combining technical development work with practical problem-solving. You appreciate working close to both development and production and are motivated by creating solutions that work in practice. You don't need to have experience in a leadership role before, but we believe you enjoy taking responsibility, driving issues forward, and supporting colleagues in technical challenges. You work in a structured and independent manner, but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues in development, production, and other parts of the business. We believe you are curious, engaged, and like to take on technical challenges – whether it's further developing an existing product or finding a solution to a new problem. We would like to see that you have: Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, or similar field Experience with mechanical design in welded sheet metal Very good knowledge of Inventor and Vault Experience with technical calculations and product development Ability to read, understand, and work from technical standards Good knowledge of Swedish and English Meritorious is experience in pressure vessels and electrical design.
