Design Engineer for International Automotive Giant!

Your responsibilities: As a design engineer with our client, you will become part of a cross-functional team working on the development of primarily plastic and sheet metal components for the automotive industry. The components are found in several parts of the vehicle, giving you the opportunity to build broad technical expertise rather than focusing on a single product or component. The role involves a combination of design, requirements management, and collaboration across multiple functions. You will primarily work with CATIA and Teamcenter as your main design tools and have many points of contact, both internally and externally. In your daily work, you collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and related hardware-focused departments to ensure that technical solutions are developed and implemented in the best way possible. Your profile: Required qualifications: • At least a BSc in a relevant field: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or equivalent. • Professional Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Good CAD skills Desirable qualifications: • Experience with CATIA. • Experience with Teamcenter. • Previous experience in a similar design engineering role. • Electrical engineering experience Personality: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are seeking someone who is engaged, driven, and takes responsibility for your tasks.
