DESIGN ENGINEER AT GROTH KAROSS IN MÖNSTERÅS! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a design engineer at Groth Kaross, you will work on developing custom-designed vehicle solutions for various customers and projects. No two days are the same—each solution is unique and tailored to the customer's needs, which requires both creativity and technical problem-solving skills. You will be involved throughout the entire process, from customer dialogue and quotation work to design and project management of production. The role involves close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and the production team, where your communication skills become an important part of the work. The job responsibilities may include: designing and developing special vehicles and customized solutions creating drawings and technical documentation solving design challenges and developing smart technical solutions participating in customer meetings and quotation work project managing and following up on production PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working as a design engineer and who is driven to find smart, functional, and sustainable solutions. You have a genuine technical interest and enjoy working in a role where you can combine creativity with problem-solving. Since our projects are often unique to each customer, you need to be curious, flexible, and appreciate variety in your work. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe that you: have a couple of years of experience in design work have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks are solution-oriented and enjoy technical challenges have the ability to visualize and communicate technical solutions are more of a generalist and appreciate the variety of tasks and approaches It is an advantage if you also have experience with: post-secondary education in a relevant field hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics project management work in the automotive or manufacturing industry As a person, you are positive, engaged, and communicative. You appreciate working closely with both customers and production and want to be involved throughout the process, from idea and design to the finished solution.
