To strengthen our operations in the north, we need to expand with more design engineers and project managers in electrical power systems. Do you want to work with medium-voltage installations in a high-tech industrial environment? We are looking for an electrical design engineer/engineer with experience and interest in medium-voltage systems in an industrial setting. As a design engineer, you will be a key person in our TEAM and in our customers' investment and maintenance projects. Projects where electrical infrastructure is a critical part of operational reliability. You will work on technical solutions from feasibility study to completed installation in an operation where electrical safety, availability, and future-proofing are in focus. We offer interesting and challenging tasks where we help our customers create smart engineering solutions. Our projects and assignments are both local and global, giving you the opportunity to work on assignments in new areas in teams with colleagues throughout Sweden and around the world. Your tasks may include: Designing electrical power solutions in the medium-voltage range (1–52 kV) for industry's internal power distribution networks Sizing cables, transformers, protective relays, switchgear, and other equipment according to applicable standards and technical requirements Preparing technical documentation such as drawings, diagrams, material specifications, and load calculations Supporting project managers and facility owners in procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and installation work Participating in technical feasibility studies, risk analyses, and requirements definition in new and renovation projects Coordinating with the customer's internal departments, such as electrical operations, maintenance, and production, to ensure technical quality and operational safety Participating in contractor follow-up, installation inspections, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning Continuously improving design procedures and technical standards in the electrical power field Complying with electrical safety legislation, ESA, high-voltage regulations, and internal guidelines Qualifications Mandatory Requirements Post-secondary technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent (vocational, university, or civil engineer degree) Practical or theoretical experience in electrical power design (e.g., switchgear, protective relays, transformer stations, power cables) Good understanding of medium-voltage systems (1–52 kV) Experience working with CAD-based drawing systems (such as ELPROCAD, MagiCAD, EPLAN, or similar) Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical power standards and regulations (e.g., ESA, Swedish Electrical Safety Authority, SS-EN standards) Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written B-class driver's license Desired Qualifications and Experience Extensive experience in electrical power design in industrial environments Knowledge of protective relays, selectivity plans, and short-circuit calculations Experience coordinating projects with electrical contractors and installers Experience working in project form with project managers and maintenance departments Knowledge of SCADA systems and documentation systems (e.g., PDM) Experience with technical requirements specification and procurement You are thorough, structured, and have a strong technical interest.
