Then this job is for you! We are now seeking a mechanical design engineer for our operations in Säffle, with the opportunity to work a few days a week at our office in Karlstad. ABOUT THE ROLE As a design engineer, you will be part of our design and development team, consisting of around 20 enthusiastic and tech-savvy colleagues. As a design engineer with us, you have a central role where you participate in projects and assignments ranging from the customer's initial request through delivery. In your role, you will be involved in design work, calculations, and product development of valves and actuators. Development projects and daily work are coordinated and planned through pulse methodology. The role also involves working cross-functionally with colleagues in sales, procurement, service, production, and others. WHO ARE YOU? We want you as an applicant to have relevant educational background with a focus on mechanical engineering or similar, or equivalent work experience, as well as experience with CAD systems—we use Autodesk Inventor. If you have also worked as a project manager, this is a merit. We highly value personal qualities such as drive, commitment, thoroughness, and genuine interest in technology. Your sense of quality is always with you, and you enjoy finding solutions and creative approaches to sometimes complex problems. Work is often conducted in project form where high demands are placed on flexibility and collaboration. Helping your colleagues and sharing your knowledge is natural for you. A certain portion of our communication takes place in English, and therefore we see that you have good English skills both spoken and written.
