Naval Base is seeking a company commander for the Marine Medical Company as one of five company commanders at 1st Marine Base Battalion. You will be employed as a company commander OF2, with responsibility to develop marine healthcare within the framework of ROLE 2. The company includes four platoons focused on Trauma Care, War Surgery, logistics, and command. About the Unit 1st Marine Base Battalion is one of Naval Base's standing military units. The marine base battalions' mission is to provide logistics support to marine units both from land and at sea, both in daily operations at the regular base and at temporarily established bases. The unit trains soldiers and sailors in Healthcare, logistics, ground combat, escort, reconnaissance, communications, and technical service. Main Responsibilities: Commander with personnel responsibility Planning and monitoring of the company's operations Development of the company and the military unit The role of company commander involves varied tasks and requires the ability to work both independently and with others. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Swedish citizen Officer's degree Military rank of at least OF2 Class B driver's license Personal Qualities You are a good representative for the Swedish Armed Forces and a role model both as a person and as a leader. You build your leadership on the Armed Forces' core values. You have good situational awareness both in terms of leadership and teamwork, good stress tolerance and endurance, and good improvisation skills. A prerequisite for good results and quality in work is that you have good communication skills, social competence where you are skilled at collaboration and take responsibility for your work. You are an unpretentious person who can adapt to emerging situations and easily switch between different tasks. You often work together with others in a team but also independently, which requires both self-reliance and collaboration skills. You are thorough and have a structured work approach and the ability to adjust pace when needed. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
