Public Service Advisor for New Customer Service Department - Water/Wastewater and Waste Management, Danderyd Municipality

The Municipality's service center in Danderyds Centrum (twelve minutes from T-Centralen) started in 2017 an exciting journey toward a modern contact center that provides services to citizens and businesses through digital channels, phone, and in-person visits. By handling citizen requests for the municipality's departments, the contact center helps relieve the workload of case handlers. The contact center's knowledge of Danderyd residents' needs and preferences is an important part of developing the municipality's services and offerings. We are now in the startup phase of a completely new customer service department for water/wastewater, waste, and recycling within our contact center, and we are seeking two employees who want to be part of this journey! We recently launched customer service for waste management and are now beginning work on the water/wastewater division. Do you, like us, have a strong interest in service and smart solutions? DUTIES As an employee at our contact center, you will be part of a great team with our other public service advisors. Your primary responsibility is to provide service to residents and businesses regarding the municipality's water/wastewater and waste management services. Tasks range from simple inquiries about subscriptions and invoices to registry management, investigation of potential billing errors, and handling of deviations. Together with our colleagues in the municipality, we develop new and efficient working methods to provide better and faster service to Danderyd residents. The contact center contributes to operational development and new solutions in the municipality. We develop smart solutions and offer service through multiple channels, based on how citizens choose to contact us. Your contribution is important in this development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • High school diploma. • Several years of professional experience in customer service or contact center work involving handling incoming requests via phone and digital channels. • Documented experience working with case management in a case management system or business system. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365. • Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both written and oral. • Good communication skills in English, both written and oral. It is a merit if you have: • Relevant education in customer service or water/wastewater, waste management, and recycling. • Documented experience working in customer service for water/wastewater, waste management, and recycling. • Documented experience with the business system EDP Future. • Experience working in the public or municipal sector.
