About the Role Do you want to drive development that makes a real difference—both for the operation and for our residents? As an operations developer, you will drive change initiatives, lead important projects, and develop effective working methods. You will be employed at the Municipal Administration Office and be part of a work group focused on growth, HR, and development. Job Responsibilities The position of operations developer involves a central role in the municipality's strategic development work. You drive development issues and prepare well-founded decision materials for municipal leadership. By mapping, analyzing, and optimizing our processes, you create more efficient working methods and operations better adapted to residents' needs. In this work, you will lead and coordinate cross-municipal projects and initiatives, and contribute to development efforts that strengthen the municipality's attractiveness and growth. In this role, you function as both a project manager and a change leader in the municipality's development initiatives. Digitalization is an important part of the assignment. You implement new working methods, routines, and digital tools that improve accessibility, quality, and efficiency for both employees and residents. You conduct analyses and investigations that form the basis for political decisions. Here you balance current conditions and future needs with a focus on long-term sustainable solutions. Qualifications We seek you with a university degree in public administration or another university education that the employer deems relevant. We would appreciate it if you have completed training in project management. In your previous work, you have worked with both operations development and process management. If you have previously worked in a politically governed operation or have experience in project management, that is a merit. Your personal qualities are important to us, and as a person you are driven, strategic, and have good analytical abilities. You work with a process orientation, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy working together with others to reach common goals. It is a prerequisite for this work that you are communicative and can communicate in very good Swedish both verbally and in writing. A Class B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
