We are seeking an engaged and driven communications officer who wants to strengthen both internal and external communication within the Social Services Administration and the Employment Department (AMA).
About the Position
As a communications officer with us, you work both strategically and operatively. You have a key role in developing communications that support our operations, our employees, and our residents.
You will work closely with the operations and contribute to cross-departmental projects often with a focus on communication linked to development and digitalization.
In this role, you are responsible for:
• Driving and developing internal communications to managers and employees.
• Preparing and coordinating external information for residents.
• Planning and implementing communication initiatives in projects.
• Contributing to digitalization work and development of communication channels.
• Strengthening our employer brand.
• Producing content for web, social media, and other channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a confident and independent communications officer with a strong commitment to societal issues.
You have:
• University education in communications, media, or equivalent
• Experience in communications work within public sector operations
• Good knowledge of social services' mandate and official language
• Excellent ability to write in plain language
It is meritorious if you also have experience with:
• Web editing and digital platforms.
• Accessibility Directive and web accessibility.
• Project communication.
• Work with social media.
• Employer branding.
• Photography and visual communication.
• Communication within specific social service areas.
