Communicator with Visual Design Expertise

Kommerskollegium is Sweden's authority for foreign trade, the EU's internal market and trade policy, and works with, among other things, the EU's free trade agreements, Swedish companies' opportunities to import and export, and trade-related development cooperation. Kommerskollegium is, among other things, since summer 2025, a civil defense preparedness authority with sector responsibility for the foreign trade sector. As part of the communications unit, you will have a central function for the organization. The unit consists of eight employees who work with operational and strategic communication. WORK TASKS Are you good at making information simple, clear, and visually appealing? Are you a communicative person with a feel for design who wants to develop in a broad role where you get to work with both content and design? Then you might be the one we're looking for. As a communicator with visual design expertise, you will become part of our communications unit, work closely with our graphic designer, and work on planning, producing, and developing communication in different channels. With a strong eye for form, you help the organization reach audiences with messages that engage and are easy to understand. You will, among other things, create content for web and social media and ensure that communications are accessible and follow plain language principles, produce graphic material for digital and print channels, design reports, publications, presentations and information materials, develop simple animations and visual concepts, and contribute to the development of our communication approach and visual identity. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who · have post-secondary education in graphic design, communication, or other education in combination with experience that we consider equivalent · have several years of documented experience working as a communicator · have experience working with both text and visual communication · are a skilled writer with good language skills in Swedish and English · have good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator as well as PowerPoint It is advantageous if you also have experience with · government or public sector · web publishing and communication on social media · animation, motion graphics, or illustrations, for example in After Effects or equivalent tools · AI-based tools for communication and design You enjoy translating ideas into finished products from presentations and reports to digital content within the framework of our graphic profile. Testing new work methods and contributing creative ideas feels natural to you. You like to explore how AI and other digital tools can develop communication. High quality is important to you, and you have an easy time building good relationships and collaborating with others. In addition, you are unpretentious and do not hesitate to step in where needed.
