Communications Specialist with Focus on the General Heritage Fund

About Us As a consultant at Kammarkollegiet, you will work together with engaged colleagues in the Development and Communications Department. With our target audience in focus, we want to continue developing communication around the General Heritage Fund. Here you will play an important role in supporting operations and reaching out with relevant and target-group-tailored information. You will become part of a team that works closely with the Heritage Fund Department and contributes with both strategic and operational communication support for the General Heritage Fund's activities. The team currently consists of a press officer, a web and e-services officer, and two communications specialists. One of the communications specialists has the role of team leader for joint work on General Heritage Fund communications. One of our communications specialists will be on parental leave, which is why we are seeking a temporary replacement. Together we plan, implement, and follow up communication initiatives for civil society and target groups that can apply for funds from the General Heritage Fund. In the team, we collaborate in everything from planning, consultation, and message formulation to content production for websites, social media, and campaigns. About the Assignment The assignment includes working in an advisory capacity and closely with operations to ensure that communication is effective, target-group-tailored, accessible, and achieves set goals. You are also expected to plan, implement, and follow up communication initiatives, both strategically and operationally. In addition, you should design and publish content for websites, social media, and other digital channels, as well as work with content production, for example by writing and editing texts, creating images, film, and other material that strengthens our messages. You will also participate in the planning and implementation of campaigns, information initiatives, webinars, and conferences. Are You Our Future Colleague? We are looking for a communications specialist with diverse skills and the ability to handle various communication challenges. You enjoy both developing a plan for an activity and working out practical solutions. You appreciate the variety in a broad assignment that encompasses many different communication channels. We are looking for someone who has: Higher education in media and communication science or other education that we consider equivalent. Current experience planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives. Current experience with assignments in the public sector. Current and very strong ability to formulate clear and accessible messages for different target audiences. Current experience producing content for digital channels and social media. Current experience working in Adobe, for example with content production in Adobe Express and/or image editing in Adobe Photoshop. Good knowledge of plain language and the legislation governing communication in public operations. Merits if you have: Project led larger campaigns and/or larger events. Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The role involves many contact points, which requires good collaboration and communication skills. You are attentive to the needs of the operations, confident in your role, and have the ability to adapt communication based on recipient and channel. Your colleagues in the communications department work with great personal responsibility for planning and organizing their assignments.
