About the role As a project communications officer, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives linked to the projects Innovation Sluice and testbed for welfare services and Academic-Near Innovation Dalarna 2. You will help make visible how research, knowledge, and ideas are translated into practice and create value in society. You will also have the opportunity to build networks and work in an environment where knowledge, innovation, and collaboration are central. You will be part of the Communications Department, which is part of the college's operations support and is responsible for both internal and external communications as well as student recruitment. We are now strengthening our team with a communications officer who wants to take a holistic approach to communications in our innovation and collaboration projects. You will work both strategically and operationally, with an important role in connecting the projects' communications to the college's long-term work with innovation and collaboration. In your daily work, you collaborate closely with colleagues in the Communications Department, the Planning and Analysis Unit, and project managers and other key persons – both internally and externally. You plan and drive the work forward in dialogue with affected stakeholders and based on the projects' goals and implementation plans. The role also includes initiating, planning, and implementing activities that strengthen collaboration between academia, the public sector, and business, as well as contributing to increased knowledge exchange and utilization of research. The role requires: an academic degree in communications or another academic degree that the employer deems equivalent at least three years of current experience independently planning and driving communication initiatives at least three years of current experience with similar assignments that the employer deems relevant good knowledge of web publishing tools, for example Episerver good knowledge of plain language and web accessibility very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have: experience with processes in the higher education sector experience with innovation communications and/or collaboration with business. To succeed in this assignment, you thrive in a role where you can take initiative and create structure. You have the ability to work independently, see opportunities, take responsibility, and drive work forward – even when the parameters are not entirely clear. You are relationship-building and have an aptitude for building trust. Collaboration is a central part of the role, both internally and externally, and you are motivated by working with different stakeholders. Additionally, you have very good teamwork skills and actively contribute to an open and solution-oriented work environment. We also see that you are analytical and reflective – you follow up and evaluate your communication initiatives, draw conclusions, and adjust as needed to achieve the best possible effect.
