RFSL is seeking an experienced and driven communications manager who wants to work broadly with communications at one of Sweden's leading human rights organizations. We're looking for someone who thrives switching between strategy and production, who can think long-term about brand, target audiences and communication goals while also enjoying writing content, producing materials, planning campaigns, working with the press and developing our digital channels. With us, you'll have a central role in strengthening RFSL's visibility and impact. You'll work with everything from member and fundraising communications to press work, content production, campaigns, events and communication advisory services to our operations. At the same time, RFSL is on a transformation journey. We're developing our communication efforts to be more proactive on our issues, reach more people who share our values, and strengthen our long-term engagement. An important part of this is increasing fundraising and member engagement. As a communications manager, you'll be an important part of that development. This is a role for you who enjoy variety, take own initiative and want to use your communications expertise to contribute to a more inclusive society where LGBTQI+ people's rights are respected and strengthened. You'll be at the heart of RFSL's work, nationally and internationally, and help ensure our issues gain greater impact and lead to positive change for LGBTQI+ people and human rights. Your Role With Us As a communications manager, you'll work both strategically and operatively with RFSL's external communications. You're responsible for planning, implementing and following up on communication initiatives that strengthen the organization's brand, increase engagement for our issues, and contribute to member development, fundraising and societal impact. You'll be part of the Communications, Fundraising and Policy Unit and work closely with colleagues throughout the organization. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how communications contributes to organizational goals, while also appreciating operational work and enjoying turning ideas into concrete content and activities. You're driven to create results and see opportunities in change. You find it inspiring to be part of developing communication efforts in an organization that wants to grow its impact, strengthen its engagement, and reach new audiences. You're self-driven, organized and good at prioritizing between different tasks. You have very good collaboration skills and build trust in relationships with colleagues, managers, media and external stakeholders. You're analytical and use data, follow-up and insights to develop communications. At the same time, you're creative and able to adapt messages to different audiences and channels. You share RFSL's values and want to use your communications expertise to contribute to human rights and a more inclusive society. We expect you to stand behind RFSL's core principles.
