Do you want to be part of our important, democratic mission? About the Position As a Communications Officer, you will be part of the External Relations and Collaboration unit. There you will drive, coordinate, and implement communication initiatives based on a well-structured methodology, founded on a transparent and trust-building approach. You develop methods for purposeful and target-group-adapted communication, contribute with a communicative perspective on strategic issues, and help ensure that the agency maintains consistent messages. You will execute communication initiatives in such a way that MTM continues to establish itself further as a knowledge center for accessible media, based on MTM's strategy with the aim of creating good conditions for change, both internally and externally. You will implement communication initiatives operationally in MTM's external and internal channels based on the organization's needs. Through dialogue and collaboration, you contribute to driving the operation forward. About You We are looking for someone who has: Higher education or other post-secondary education in communication or journalism, which in combination with experience can be assessed as equivalent Several years of experience working in communication Project management experience or experience coordinating and leading communication initiatives A few years of experience in strategic communication Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Very strong ability to present in a clear and target-group-adapted manner It is advantageous if you have: Experience working with communication of complex issues Experience with change communication Experience working cross-functionally in organizations Experience working with the entire chain of communication work, from objective setting and implementation to follow-up and evaluation of communication initiatives Knowledge of MTM's target groups, products, media, and services To succeed in the role of Communications Officer, you need to have a very strong ability to write in a target-group-adapted, engaging, and clear manner. You have a good ability to produce content in different formats, using different technical tools, and handling everything from start to finish. You work with a long-term perspective, engage with complex issues, and have very strong overall understanding of what you do. You have a very strong ability to listen, analyze, and draw conclusions. You are unpretentious and skilled at collaboration. You are flexible and able to adjust and adapt your plans based on changing circumstances. You thrive in an organization in development and change where you, within your area of responsibility, contribute to building up and developing the agency, and you have a target-group-centered perspective in everything you do. It begins with a six-month probationary period. Start as soon as possible by agreement. Salary setting at MTM follows the central wage agreements RALS/RALS-T and we apply individual salary setting. Our office is located in Malmö and there is opportunity for some remote work. Interviews will be conducted at our office at the end of week 34 and beginning of week 35.
