WORK TASKS
Communication is an important part of Ronneby Municipality's development. We want to create understanding, engagement, and dialogue with residents, businesses, employees, and visitors. We are now looking for a fixed-term communicator who wants to contribute to developing our internal and external communication. The position is a six-month temporary contract, and may subsequently lead to continued employment.
With us, you will work closely with operations, managers, and leadership on issues that affect people's daily lives. You will be an important part of the municipality's communication work, develop our place and employer brand, and contribute to an open, accessible, and modern municipality.
Your Assignment
As a communicator, you will work primarily operationally, but the role also contains some strategic elements. One moment you serve as support to a manager or operation, the next moment you produce content for the web, social media, or other communication channels.
You will have a broad assignment where you are involved in planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives throughout the municipality.
In the role, you will, among other things:
• Plan, produce, and publish content on the web, intranet, and social media.
• Provide communication support to managers and operations.
• Coordinate and implement communication initiatives related to the municipality's operations and development work.
• Write articles, press releases, and information materials.
• Provide communication support in work with place and employer branding.
• Follow up on and evaluate communication initiatives to develop working methods and results.
• Work with environmental monitoring and identify relevant communication needs.
• Contribute communication support during unplanned events and crisis situations.
We would like to see that you are curious about new forms of communication, digital development, and how new technology can help make communication more efficient, accessible, and tailored to target audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Your Competence and Experience
You have an academic degree in communication, journalism, media, or another field that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience in communication work and feel confident both in providing advice, planning communication initiatives, and producing content yourself for different target audiences and channels. You have very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you have good digital skills and experience working in digital communication channels and social media.
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
• Communication work in public sector operations or other complex organizations.
• Digital communication channels and publishing tools.
• Press and media contacts.
• Crisis communication.

Salary Form: Monthly salary.
Employment Form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
About the Employment
Fixed-term employment, temporary contract with start date September 1 or by agreement. The temporary contract runs through March 30, 2027. The position may subsequently lead to continued employment.
