The Municipal Administration Office houses the central management resources and administrative support for the municipality's operational areas, such as economics, investigations, HR, and communications. We coordinate and drive overarching development and are responsible for strategies, guidelines, and tools. Your Tasks As a communications strategist, you have a key role in developing and coordinating communications work within the social care operational area. You serve as qualified support to the operational area's managers and leadership on communications matters and help ensure that communications become a natural part of the business's development and goal achievement. You will work with activities within family and individual care, care for people with disabilities, and elderly care. This means you support the operations with both long-term communications issues and ongoing communications initiatives that strengthen understanding of the operational mandate and build trust among employees, residents, and other stakeholders. The role involves working both strategically and operationally. You are responsible for long-term communications planning, identify communications needs, and translate these into concrete activities and initiatives. You provide advice on communications decisions and ensure that messages reach their audience clearly and tailored to the target group, both internally and externally. You produce and quality-assure content for various channels and help strengthen confidence in the operations and the municipality as a whole. The role reports to the Communications Manager and involves many points of contact where collaboration and consultation are a natural part of daily work.
