Communication Strategist based in Norrköping
We are looking for you who want to work with communication and through innovative and engaging content make our knowledge of the sea, maritime activities, and rescue services accessible to more people. You will be part of the Communication Support section at the Communications Department at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
The Swedish Maritime Administration works for safe and sustainable maritime activities. We construct and maintain shipping lanes, pilot vessels, break ice, manage sea and air rescue operations, and work with innovation and development in the maritime industry. The Communications Unit has the overall goal of creating engagement and trust in our operations.
The Communication Support section consists of a Communications Manager and nine employees and handles everything from developing management's internal communications to being communication experts in major change projects. Communication Support is also responsible for the employer brand, trade fairs and events, as well as graphic profile. In the department we work with integrated communications in both owned and earned channels, which means our target audiences are both internal and external.
Tasks
We are looking for you who want to take responsibility for and work with communications in our operations and in our various projects. As a Communication Strategist you plan and implement communications all the way from idea to finished result. You often lead communication projects or participate in others' projects and operations as a communication expert. In addition to structuring and planning communications, it is important that you yourself can both produce and commission interesting content in the form of sharp texts, images, graphics and film. Working in networks and in dialogue with many different parts of the organization is a natural part of the role and you have the ability to develop close cooperation with experts in the authority's various fields.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who:
have three years of academic education in media or communication science or other education that the employer considers equivalent, or relevant knowledge and work experience that you have acquired after many years in the profession
have several years of current professional experience of strategic work in the communications field
have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
have good experience of professional work with Adobe products
It is advantageous:
to have worked in both the private sector and public service
to have worked with change communication and work with employer branding
to have worked as a project manager
to have good ability to express yourself well in English in both speech and writing

How and when?
This recruitment concerns a permanent position that is estimated to be filled as soon as possible. Interviews may be conducted digitally and in person in August.
The Swedish Maritime Administration may apply a six-month probationary period. The position may involve wartime placement at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
Individual salary setting applies to this position.
The position may require Swedish citizenship. Security vetting with record check may be conducted before a job offer.
