If the work involves services for children, you must submit an extract from the criminal and suspicion register, which we will keep for 2 years, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Do you remember what it was like to be an 11-year-old boy and do you have a positive outlook on life? If so, you might be the person we're looking for!
Our customer goes to school according to the school schedule, and his assistant goes with him – that's where you'll work most of your hours.
Your role will be to ensure that our customer can be just like all other 11-year-olds despite his circumstances and the challenges that come with them. He wants to be like his peers, which means you need to sense the room and stay in the background but quickly step in if our customer needs you.
He needs supervision throughout the day due to his respiratory condition, so you need to learn to interpret our customer's body signals. He needs ongoing help with inhalation during the day. He is fed through a tube according to schedule and given extra nutrition when needed.
He needs help with dressing since he has difficulty lifting his arms and has muscle weakness.
We're looking for you, a guy who remembers what it was like to be 11 years old. We think you're between 22-30 years old, and being interested in sports is a big plus, but our customer also enjoys gaming.
You need to be present in the moment and see what needs to be done while staying in the background when required.
The family has two dogs, so you cannot have any allergies or be afraid of dogs, and of course you must be smoke-free.
The position is approximately 85%.
You'll start at the school where the customer goes (Bunkeflostrand) at 08:00, then you go home with the customer so you're home by 15:00 every day except Friday when you're home at 14:30 and your day ends there.
We hope you're flexible about times, and there will also be occasions when you work in the home environment, such as during school breaks.
