Fågelbro Säteri is beautifully situated in an archipelago setting on Värmdö and is a place where care, warmth, and professionalism come together. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef who wants to take our kitchen to the next level and make Fågelbro Säteri a gastronomic destination to be reckoned with! Fågelbro Säteri has undergone extensive transformation in recent years. Our hotel rooms have been renovated and in late summer 2025 our new conference wing opened. Fågelbro Säteri is embarking on a continued exciting development journey. We are already working to shape our future concept and identity, with the ambition to create some of Sweden's best customer experiences at intimate destinations where food, beverage, hotel, spa, meetings, and experiences are in focus. For the kitchen, this means a central role in the continued development. Our ambition is to create a clear gastronomic identity, develop new F&B concepts, and build a culinary experience that both strengthens the destination and gives guests a reason to return—whether they visit us for dinner, a conference, a weekend, a wedding, or another experience. The goal is to position Fågelbro Säteri as one of Sweden's most attractive intimate destinations, where gastronomy is a natural and integral part of the overall experience. About the Role As Executive Chef at Fågelbro Säteri, you will have overall responsibility for our kitchen and its daily operations. You focus on establishing clear working methods, ensuring quality delivery, and developing a strong and engaged kitchen team. Here you have the opportunity to truly make your mark on our gastronomy by developing menus based on the season's finest ingredients and preferably with local roots. The role also involves daily planning and organization of operational work, monitoring hygiene and safety routines, and actively working with budget, cost control, and waste minimization. You will be a culture bearer in the kitchen, with great responsibility for recruiting, developing, and elevating the team toward shared goals. At Fågelbro Säteri, we work closely with all departments including kitchen, restaurant, conference/event, reception, sales, and hotel management to create a cohesive and strong guest experience. Your Profile We are looking for someone with solid experience from professional kitchens and who has worked in a leadership role for several years, preferably in a hotel or resort environment. We see that you have experience with menu planning, costing, and pricing based on set budget targets and concepts. You are accustomed to working with efficient scheduling, structure, and tracking of relevant key metrics for the kitchen. You lead with heart and clarity, and create an environment where your team grows, performs, and thrives. In an often fast-paced environment, you maintain structure, focus, and quality, and you are motivated by creating culinary experiences that guests remember. We consider it a merit if you also have some form of gastronomic further education, experience with larger events and weddings, or documented experience launching new F&B concepts. If you also have system experience in scheduling and accounting systems, this is also a merit. If you want to be part of building the next gastronomic chapter at Fågelbro Säteri and are passionate about the craft, the team, and the big picture—we look forward to hearing from you. What We Offer You · A workplace with flexible working hours and good collaboration · A values-driven company where we actively work with leadership at all levels · Opportunities for personal development through training and a secure employer with collective agreements and benefits for all employees · We offer our permanent employees subsidized massage at the workplace every other week and favorable discounts at our hotel destinations. Application The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with varying hours scheduled for weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on operations.
