WORK TASKS Do you want to help create great dining experiences for children and young people every day? At Mörsil School, we are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented kitchen assistant who wants to contribute to a pleasant meal environment and serve nutritious meals of high quality. With us, you become part of a team that makes a difference every day for approximately 350 students from preschool through grade 9. The kitchen is located at Mörsil School and we prepare most of the food from scratch here. We work with high-quality ingredients where approximately 50 percent are KRAV-certified, organic, Fairtrade-certified, or locally produced. We always choose Swedish meat and offer at least two lunch options every day, including one vegetarian option, as well as a well-stocked salad buffet. Work Tasks As a kitchen assistant, you are responsible together with your colleagues for preparing, cooking, and serving meals to the school's students. Your work tasks include: • Prepare and serve salad buffet and school meals. • Assist in preparing meals from scratch. • Serve food and ensure that food is replenished throughout the serving time. • Keep the kitchen and dining hall clean, well-organized, and pleasant before, during, and after meals. • Perform dishwashing, cleaning, and other common tasks in a school kitchen. • Follow applicable procedures for hygiene, food safety, and self-inspection. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Has experience working in a school kitchen or other large-scale kitchen operation. • Has training in HACCP and self-inspection as well as knowledge of food safety. • Enjoys working in a team and has a positive demeanor. • Is responsible, thorough, and service-oriented. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start: October 1, 2026 or by agreement. End: June 11, 2027.
