About the Job
As a temporary kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring the facility runs smoothly when a regular employee is absent. The tasks are typical of school kitchens and preschool kitchens – helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. In larger kitchens, you work as part of a team, while solo work is common in preschools.
About You
We are looking for someone who has completed restaurant and food service programs or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or equivalent large-scale kitchens. It is particularly important that you have strong knowledge of safe food handling and allergy-friendly meals.
Your knowledge, curiosity, and commitment make a difference. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are good at collaboration and can plan your own work.
