Källtorpskolan is a middle school (grades 7-9) with approximately 400 students. Since fall 2024, we also have an adapted middle school (grades 7-9) with approximately 30 students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Our operation's goal is to serve good, nutritious, and well-prepared meals that meet students' energy and nutritional needs, all according to Swedish nutrition recommendations. The meals shall establish and promote good public health and be characterized by quality and a service mindset. We are now looking for you to work with us to ensure these goals are met. In our operation, lunch is served every day. Your tasks as a kitchen assistant include all typical work in a large kitchen, such as meal preparation and salad bar setup. The position also includes serving, quality checks, food safety, and dishwashing and cleaning in the kitchen. You will also participate in planning and development work for the operation's meals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Works well with others and has a pleasant and attentive approach to other staff and students. • Good communication and cooperation between the kitchen and educators is a requirement for safe food handling. • Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work efficiently. • Sets and meets deadlines. • Sees what needs to be done and takes initiative to get it done. Requirements: • Kitchen assistant training • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious: • Has experience working in a large kitchen/preschool kitchen • Knowledge of food legislation We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
