We are now looking for an independent chef with expanded responsibilities for our Game Kitchen at Virå Bruk! About the position At Virå Bruk, game from our own lands is in absolute focus. We utilize all game that is harvested on the estate – from moose and red deer to wild boar and wild duck. In the Game Kitchen, we run à la carte service, lunch, private dinners, event arrangements, and our popular cooking activities for conference groups or private parties. As a chef with us, you work with the entire chain from raw ingredients to finished experience. You get to be part of developing menus, preparing world-class food, and also guiding our guests during the cooking activities. Scope: Full-time or by agreement Start date: Mid-August or by agreement You have a driver's license You We are looking for someone who: - Has relevant education and solid experience with à la carte - Has a genuine interest in game, sustainability, and locally sourced ingredients - Has good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written) for communication with colleagues and guests - Holds a B-class driver's license and has access to a car (as public transportation is very limited) - Is creative, organized, and enjoys working in a small, tight-knit team - Is unpretentious and finds it easy to be personable – guest contact and hospitality are a natural part of your work We offer We offer an exciting and nature-close workplace with high ceilings.
