We at Vikariepoolen are looking for engaged and experienced cooks for assignments at preschools and schools in Tyresö during the 26/27 school year. About the Job As a substitute cook in kitchen and meal service, you play an important role in the operation when regular staff are absent. You help ensure that children and students receive good, nutritious meals in a safe and well-functioning dining environment. Your tasks include: Cooking from scratch and serving breakfast, lunch and snacks Preparing nutritious special diets according to children's various allergies Ensuring self-inspection is performed, maintaining hygiene and that food handling is carried out according to applicable requirements, dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen Contributing to a positive and well-organized work environment About You We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsible and engaged in their work. You enjoy taking responsibility, have good planning skills and can quickly adapt to new work environments and routines. At the same time, you are collaborative and receptive to the organization's needs. To be qualified for the position, we see that you: Have education from a restaurant and food program or other equivalent cook training Have at least six months of experience working independently as a cook in a preschool or school kitchen Have good knowledge of food safety and HACCP Have very good knowledge of allergens and experience preparing special diets Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking and who wants to help ensure that children and young people have a positive meal experience every day.
