We at Vikariepoolen are looking for engaged and experienced cooks for assignments within preschools and schools in Tyresö during the summer break and school year 26/27. With us, you have the opportunity to work flexibly and decide for yourself when you want to take assignments. We match assignments based on your competence, experience, and availability.

About the Job
As a substitute in kitchen and meal service, you play an important role in the operations when regular staff are absent. You contribute to ensuring that children and students receive good, nutritious meals in a safe and well-functioning dining environment.
Your work tasks include, among other things:
- Preparing meals from scratch and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Preparing nutritious special diets according to children's various allergies
- Ensuring self-inspection, hygiene, and that food handling is conducted according to applicable requirements, as well as dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen
- Contributing to a positive and well-organized work environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsible, and engaged in their work. You enjoy taking your own responsibility, have good planning skills, and can quickly adapt to new work environments and routines. At the same time, you are collaboration-oriented and responsive to the needs of the operations.
To be considered for the position, we see that you:
- Have education from a restaurant and food program or equivalent cook training
- Have at least six months of experience working independently as a cook in a preschool kitchen or school kitchen
- Have good knowledge of food safety and HACCP
- Have very good knowledge of allergens and experience preparing special diets
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
