Job Description As a cook, you will be offered a rewarding position where you prepare good, safe, and healthy meals for our patients and visitors. Together with colleagues, you lay the foundation for effective care. You will experience variety in your work, from daily planning and meal preparation to special diets, as well as responsibility for follow-up and quality control. Your expertise is an important part of our efforts to develop sustainable meal production. Work is scheduled during daytime hours on both weekdays and weekends. This is an hourly position, which means your hours will vary based on operational needs. Qualifications For this position, you must have completed upper secondary education in restaurant and food service or equivalent professional training, as well as several years of experience as a cook. You must communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and be able to easily engage in dialogue with customers and colleagues and follow and understand written and verbal work instructions. Since kitchen work is physically demanding, you need to have the physical capacity to stand and walk throughout the workday, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. Over the coming years, our Meals department will undergo digitalization, which requires you to be comfortable using digital tools. As a person, we see that you - have great passion and interest in food - are thorough and well-organized - have good interpersonal skills and work well with others - are self-motivated and flexible Dietary knowledge and previous experience working as a cook in a large kitchen are advantageous for this position.
