JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to prepare delicious and nutritious Swedish home cooking from scratch and contribute to daily joy for our seniors? As we open a new facility, we now need a new team member who wants to be part of developing our meals with taste, quality, and care at the forefront. With us, food is prepared from scratch—this is the core of the work. You are responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals, preparing special diets and texture-modified meals, as well as simple desserts and baked goods. Plan and organize daily kitchen work where responsibility for hygiene, dishwashing, and cleaning according to our routines and self-inspection programs are included. You will also participate in discussions about meal planning together with colleagues and the unit manager. Packing of meal distribution and planning within packing are part of the position. You need to be flexible and prepared to work at all four of the municipality's kitchen units. The starting point is Beateberg Service House in Skee. We are looking for someone with experience as a chef and who thrives in a kitchen where quality and care are at the center. The position starts in September with weekend duty every other weekend according to schedule. The position is time-limited but there is a chance for extension. We value a restaurant mindset in our kitchens, where we together create a meal experience built on good taste, high quality, and friendly service. QUALIFICATIONS Education • We are looking for someone with upper secondary education in restaurant/institutional cooking or other chef training that the employer deems equivalent. • Food hygiene and diet cooking • You have documented knowledge in food hygiene and diet cooking. Experience • Two years of experience working as a chef. • You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to solving work tasks in an efficient manner. • You have a positive and respectful manner that makes both colleagues and guests feel welcome.
