Description of Operations The municipality's meals service consists of eight kitchens that prepare and serve approximately 1,500 portions per day to elderly care, preschools, and schools. We are now seeking a chef based at the Bygdeå school kitchen. Over time, work may occur in other kitchens within the municipality. Your Assignment As a chef, you will work with the preparation and cooking of meals for our dining guests. The assignment also includes preparation of special diets, vegetable preparation, and some dishwashing and cleaning. You will also be responsible for ordering food supplies and participate in other kitchen tasks. The position also includes preparing breakfast and snacks. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to maintaining high quality meals and ensuring the kitchen operates in a safe and efficient manner. Your Competence and Experience Requirements Chef/large kitchen training or other training that the employer deems equivalent Knowledge of special diet preparation Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Computer skills Meritorious Experience with special diet preparation Experience working according to applicable food hygiene regulations Experience working as a chef in public meal services Is This You?
