Cook - Extra Shift Position in School Kitchen

We are seeking cooks for extra shift work in school kitchens. This position is ideal for you if you are meticulous, responsible, and enjoy working as part of a kitchen team. Previous experience working in large-scale kitchens is a requirement. Communication: Responsibility for maintaining good dialogue between the kitchen, school principal, educators, and children/students, both within the facility and when needed outside of it. Menu Planning: Done in consultation with colleagues and/or the facility as needed during the temporary assignment period. Food Safety: Strong knowledge of allergens in prepared and served food. Responsibility for being able to disclose allergens verbally and/or in writing. Current allergen lists must be readily accessible at each unit. Temperature controls are handled according to internal procedures. Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality of food regarding taste, consistency, variety, selection, and portion size. Work Clothing: Work clothes are provided on-site; you must bring your own work shoes. English proficiency in speech and writing is a requirement.
