Spice n Rice Skövde is one of our restaurants across Sweden. We prepare Thai and Chinese food in a matter of minutes and serve when customers order. We are located in Commerce gallery and have approximately 80 seats. We are looking for cheerful, service-oriented, and meticulous employees who enjoy working in teams and can handle a fast-paced environment. We will hire employees with these qualities. Your experience in the profession is not as important since we will train you on site with our supervisors and work manuals in the dining area and kitchen. You will work with the preparation of our Asian dishes based on our recipe book. You will assist the head chef in producing all preparatory raw materials and you will work with kitchen routines such as hygiene control, raw material handling, and other food preparation in a small team of employees. You must have worked as a cook with Asian cuisine for at least 2 years and be able to handle a gas stove. If you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Thai, that is an added advantage. We are looking for an experienced Chinese or Vietnamese cook to join our restaurant. We hope you have deep knowledge of Chinese cooking. You should be able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen, have a passion for cooking, and pursue the highest quality. Relevant work experience as a Chinese cook is a required condition. Qualifications and Requirements We hope you have the following conditions: • At least 1 year of work experience as a cook or similar position. • Ability to communicate in Swedish or English. • If you speak a third language (such as Chinese), it will be considered an added bonus, but is not required. Working Conditions • Working hours: May involve shift work, including evenings and weekends. • Salary and benefits are in accordance with current collective agreements.
