Sushi Chef – Dragon Sushi, Gothenburg Employer: Dragon Sushi Workplace: Drakegatan 3, 412 50 Gothenburg Employment Type: Permanent Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week Salary: 34 470 SEK per month About the Position Dragon Sushi in Gothenburg is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented sushi chef on a full-time basis. As a sushi chef, you will work with the preparation and cooking of sushi and other related tasks in the restaurant kitchen. You will be an important part of our kitchen team and contribute to ensuring high quality food and good hygiene in the kitchen. Responsibilities Prepare and cook sushi, including nigiri, maki, and other sushi dishes. Prepare rice, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients. Handle and store ingredients according to applicable hygiene procedures. Ensure quality and presentation of food. Keep the workplace clean and organized. Collaborate with other kitchen staff. Perform other common kitchen tasks. Qualifications At least 1–2 years of experience working as a sushi chef or equivalent. Practical experience preparing sushi. Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling. Detail-oriented, responsible, and stress-resilient. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Interest in Japanese cooking and sushi is a plus. We welcome applicants with relevant experience and expertise in sushi.
