We are now seeking a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are central. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create flavorful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability. The position includes daily quality control work, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, and waste management. You will also assist in menu planning and inventory management. About Restaurant Holmen We are a lunch restaurant located at Saab, Stensholm serving approximately 200 lunches/day, weekdays 11:00-13:00. We serve breakfast and catering with working hours 07:00-15:30. On rare occasions, we also host evening events. We are a team of 4 people. Since we operate within a protected facility, a criminal record check and confidentiality certificate are required. The criminal record check must be clean and you must be a Swedish citizen as the operation is conducted within a military area. Who are you? - You are over 18 years old - You have education in hotel and restaurant with a chef specialization or equivalent - You have previous restaurant work experience - You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently - Through your passion, you take responsibility for maintaining high service and quality standards in what you deliver - You recognize the importance of satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resilient, and find it easy to collaborate and communicate - You can take your own initiative and are flexible in your professional role - You speak and write Swedish - Experience with menu planning systems is a plus About Compass Group We are part of Compass Group, a world-leading provider of food, beverage, and support services.
