Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.
Our Restaurant and Café within Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund is responsible for school meals and the cafeteria at Jenny Nyströmskolan, Lars Kaggskolan, and Stagneliusskolan. We cook from scratch and follow the National Food Agency's guidelines for quality meals in schools. With us, you become part of a work team with great cohesion and a lot of job satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a dedicated, flexible, and conscientious chef for our kitchen at Lars Kaggskolan. You will be part of a team that together ensures 1,400 students have a positive meal experience. You have a genuine interest in cooking, service, and building good relationships with both students and staff. Preparation of special diets is part of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have relevant education in food service and culinary arts as well as experience working as a chef. You are dedicated, flexible, and conscientious, have good teamwork skills, and enjoy working in a team. You also have a service-oriented approach and contribute to a positive work environment.
Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Before an offer of employment, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record for work in schools must be provided.
To strengthen Kalmarsunds gymnasieförbund's ability to conduct operations under heightened alert, all permanent staff will be placed on civil defense roster.
The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be claimed by surplus personnel or that necessary political decisions are made.
