As a QMS Coordinator, you are responsible for integrating quality, environment, and occupational health and safety into the daily operations of projects and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, industry standards, and company guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with project management, production managers, and other functions to create a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious workplace.
The work encompasses both strategic and operational tasks. You participate in developing management systems, procedures, and work processes while providing support in production. You drive and follow up on QMS work through risk assessments, occupational health plans, control plans, safety rounds, and deviation management. An important part of the assignment is to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and ensure that decided measures are implemented and followed up.
You are also responsible for ensuring that necessary documentation, permits, and checklists are current, and you participate in project meetings, audits, and training initiatives to strengthen knowledge in quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. The role often involves responsibility for multiple projects or production units where work tasks are adapted based on operational needs.
We are looking for you who
1. Have relevant education in quality, occupational health and safety, environment, or safety, and several years of experience in qualified QMS work within construction, civil engineering, or production operations.
2. Have good knowledge of occupational health and environmental legislation, experience with systematic occupational health and safety work, and management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
3. Experience with audits, risk management, regulatory contacts, and digital systems for document and deviation management is advantageous.
To succeed in this role, you are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative. You enjoy collaborating with different professional groups, have a drive to develop work methods, and actively contribute to a strong safety and quality culture.
