The state limited liability company HOSPITAL "ĢINTERMUIŽA" invites a Clinical and Health Psychologist specializing in sand therapy to join our team at the children's day care center.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide psychological consultation: identify and assess the patient's mental processes, states, and personality characteristics using sand therapy methods, as directed by the team leader—a child psychiatrist.
2. Analyze and interpret consultation results, prepare reports on consultation findings, provide feedback, and offer recommendations.
3. Document consultations in medical records (including electronic records) in accordance with established medical document management requirements.
4. Promote collaboration between the patient, their caregiver, and healthcare professionals, fostering engagement and treatment effectiveness.
Expectations of Candidates
1. Higher education; master's degree in psychology; psychologist qualification.
2. Certificate from the Latvia Psychologists Certification Board certifying the right to independently perform professional psychological work in the field of clinical and health psychology.
3. Certificate issued by the Latvia Sand Play Therapy Association certifying knowledge, skills, and competence in applying sand play therapy methods in professional practice.
4. Certificate demonstrating specialized knowledge in child protection (preferred).
5. Knowledge, skills, and competencies:
5.1. State language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia (C1 level),
5.2. Knowledge and skills in working with computers and information technology,
5.3. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Personal qualities:

6.2. Responsible and positive attitude toward work,
6.3. Orientation toward clients, solutions, and results.
7. Compliance with the requirements of Article 72 of the Child Rights Protection Law.
