About the Job About Kognitiva Teamet Kognitiva Teamet is an established healthcare company that since 2007 has offered psychological treatment and psychosocial support to individuals, companies, insurance companies, and healthcare providers. We work with quality, evidence, and personal engagement, and are now seeking a new colleague for our international Employee Assistance Program (EAP). About the Position We are seeking an experienced clinician for a central assessment function within our EAP. The work is entirely remote and involves being the first professional contact for clients seeking support. The role includes telephone-based intake interviews, psychological assessments, triage, case management, and follow-up. When needed, it also includes providing psychological crisis support by telephone. You have a coordinating role and work in close collaboration with clients, commissioners, our international partner team, and other consultants in the EAP team. This is not a traditional full-time position. The role requires high availability during scheduled working hours to receive and manage incoming cases, while the ongoing workload is relatively limited. Compensation is structured based on the scope of the assignment, responsibility, and availability requirements. Consulting assignment or employment – by agreement. Fully remote – work is performed from home. Availability required on weekdays (excluding holidays) 07:30–17:30. The assignment involves approximately 100 cases per month, corresponding to around five cases per working day. Each case typically takes approximately 15 minutes to manage. You will be part of a team with other EAP consultants where time off is planned collectively. Certain on-call shifts in evenings, nights, or weekends may occur to enable leave within the team. The position is well suited to combine with other flexible activities, such as research, creative work, writing, project work, or other consulting work without scheduled client meetings. However, it is not compatible with private practice or other employment with booked patient appointments during scheduled working hours, as the role requires high availability. Responsibilities Conduct intake interviews by telephone. Perform psychological assessments and triage. Assess mental status, priority level, and social situation. Collect and document clinical and administrative information. Manage, document, and follow up cases in digital systems. Provide psychological crisis support by telephone when needed. Coordinate interventions between clients, commissioners, care providers, and the international partner team. Qualifications Requirements At least 5 years of experience in psychosocial work. Very good computer skills. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additionally, one of the following is required: Licensure as a psychologist, psychotherapist, or other healthcare professional with relevant competence, or Degree in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent academic education at least at master's level, in combination with basic psychotherapy training (Step 1). Meritorious Experience in crisis support. Experience with telephone-based assessment or triage work. Experience working in EAP, occupational health services, or similar operations. Start Date: September 1. Selection is ongoing.
