We work with quality, evidence, and personalized care, and we are now seeking a new colleague for our international Employee Assistance Program (EAP). About the Position We are looking for an experienced clinician for a central assessment function within our EAP. The work is entirely remote and involves being the first professional contact for clients seeking support. The role includes phone-based intake interviews, psychological assessments, triage, and case management and follow-up. When needed, you will also provide psychological crisis support by phone. You have a coordinating role and work in close collaboration with clients, clients, our international partner team, and other consultants in the EAP team. This is not a traditional full-time position. The role requires high availability during scheduled working hours to receive and manage incoming cases, while the ongoing workload is relatively limited. Compensation is structured based on the scope of the assignment, responsibility, and availability requirements. Consultant assignment or employment – by agreement. Completely remote – work is performed from home. Availability required on weekdays (no weekends) 07:30–17:30. The assignment includes approximately 100 cases per month, corresponding to around five cases per workday. Each case typically takes about 15 minutes to manage. You will be part of a team with other EAP consultants where time off is planned together. Some evening, night, or weekend shifts may occur to enable time off within the team. The position is well-suited to combine with other flexible activities, such as research, writing, project work, or other consulting work without fixed client meetings. However, it is not compatible with a private practice or other work with scheduled patient appointments during regular working hours, as the role requires high availability. Responsibilities Conduct intake interviews by phone. Perform psychological assessments and triage. Assess mental status, priority level, and social situation. Gather and document clinical and administrative information. Manage, document, and follow up cases in digital systems. Provide psychological crisis support by phone when needed. Coordinate interventions between clients, clients, care providers, and the international partner team. Qualifications Requirements At least 5 years of experience in psychosocial work. Very good computer skills. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additionally, one of the following is required: Licensed as a psychologist, psychotherapist, or other healthcare professional with relevant qualifications, or Degree in social work, behavioral science, or equivalent academic education at least at the master's level, combined with basic psychotherapy training (Step 1). Meritorious Experience with crisis support. Experience with phone-based assessment or triage work. Experience working in EAP, occupational health, or similar operations. Start Date: September 1.
