The National Library of Latvia invites applications for a CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST position.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome museum visitors and provide knowledgeable consultation about museum offerings;
Provide support for exhibition operations;
Monitor exhibits and inventory;
Manage ticket sales and souvenir retail operations;
Conduct ticket inspections;
Comply with electronic cash register usage requirements in accordance with applicable regulations;
Register and record each visit in the ticket sales and accounting system.
Requirements:
Secondary or vocational secondary education;
Ability to listen to others and communicate effectively;
Preferred practical experience in customer service;
Excellent command of Latvian and ability to communicate in English (knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage);
Willingness to work according to shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays;
Understanding and practical ability to apply knowledge of customer service specifics;
Ability to work with digital tools;
Responsibility and accuracy.

The selection process will take place in two rounds. First round – evaluation of candidates' education and work experience based on submitted documents. Second round – interview to assess the candidate's knowledge and competencies in accordance with requirements for the position.
