About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking additional staff members. Job Description As a client case officer, you are primarily responsible for handling clients' legal aid matters. The work involves investigation and decision-making in accordance with current legislation, where you will focus on legal certainty. Together with the operations manager and your team, which currently consists of ten client case officers, you will advance legal aid work. You will also be responsible for supervision and further development of contact person assignments and execution planning at your unit. Direct client-facing work occurs. We are looking for you who have: • An academic degree (such as law, social work, social science) or other relevant education combined with work experience relevant to the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations. • Experience in case handling within state, municipal, or regional government. • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. • Good computer skills. It is also meritorious to have: • Completed basic training within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. • Several years of work experience within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. • Good knowledge of administrative law. • Experience working as a client case officer within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. • Experience with the Prison and Probation Service's client administration systems. • Good knowledge of relevant legislation.
