Description About Us Åbyskolan is an F-6 school in the heart of Västerhaninge with about 450 students and 55 engaged and competent staff members. We have 100% certified teachers and we are very proud of that. Åbyskolan has a special focus on language development and mathematics. At Åbyskolan, we know that strong reading skills are crucial for students' ability to develop knowledge. That's why we work on language development across all school subjects. We're looking for someone who is forward-thinking, ambitious, and has great confidence in all students' ability to develop. You need to have a primary school teacher education and teacher certification with authorization for grades 4-6. You need to be comfortable working with digital tools both in students' learning, communication with guardians, and documentation of students' goal achievement. To succeed as a teacher with us, you naturally need—just as we do—both the willingness and ability to collaborate, communicate, and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Qualifications We're looking for a certified class teacher for grades 4–6 with subject authorization in Mathematics, Science and Technology, and Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SVA).
