SiS youth home Klarälvsgården receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial problems as well as criminal behavior and substance abuse issues. We are tasked with receiving boys who have expanded need for psychiatric services. At SiS youth home Klarälvsgården, we operate our own school in combination with treatment for young people placed in full-time care. Collaboration between the school and the departments is of central importance to how well we succeed in motivating young people to turn a negative development into something that can provide better conditions for a good life. The school consists of a principal, teachers, and special education teacher who collaborate to plan, teach, evaluate, and develop school operations at the institution. A student health team also exists. The institution also operates its own health care services with nurses and a psychologist. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a qualified subject teacher in Social Studies/Health & Physical Education for secondary school. You should have experience working at a SiS school or similar facility. It is advantageous if you have mentoring experience, conflict management skills, and experience teaching other subjects and in other contexts.
