What we're looking for We're seeking someone with a university degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or molecular biology. As we are an accredited organization, we would appreciate if you have an understanding of such an organization. You have strong knowledge of Swedish and English as well as good computer skills. It is a merit if you hold a PhD and if you have previously worked in healthcare. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. As a person, you are responsible, have good teamwork skills, take active personal responsibility, and have the ability to see the bigger picture. In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently. This role requires high analytical ability and good social competence. You have good collaboration skills, are action-oriented, and are responsive. What you'll be working with You will have method responsibility, instrument responsibility, and drive development. You are expected to assist in daily production and take responsibility for your methods at the regional laboratory. Verification and validation of modified methods as well as documentation according to our established quality system. Monitor and maintain quality in our analyses. The tasks vary, and no two days are alike. There are many exciting projects to get involved in, and as a chemist with us, you collaborate with all our different professions. You will be part of a team of four chemists. Your work location is at Laboratory Medicine Sunderby Hospital, but other hospital locations in the region can be considered for the right candidate.
