The Latvian Geospatial Information Agency (Reg. No. 90002065000) invites applications for the position of: CARTOGRAPHER In the Southern Division of the Cartography Department Job Responsibilities: Perform office-based interpretation of large-scale (1:2000 - 1:10,000) geospatial data for the preparation or updating of topographic maps or plans; perform data organization and formatting work for 1:25,000 scale maps; conduct field survey work. Requirements for Candidates: Secondary professional or higher education in cartography, geography, land management, geodesy, or a related field; knowledge of geospatial data processing software and practical experience with office software (experience working with specialized geospatial data processing software such as ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS will be considered an advantage); excellent command of the state language; Compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the "State Secrets" Law.
