Your Future Role As a cartography engineer at LFV, you help ensure that flight information is handled correctly, updated efficiently, and presented in a clear and user-friendly manner. You work closely with our digital production team, where maps and geographic data form the foundation for publications and services for pilots and other users of airspace, in both manned and unmanned aviation. In your daily work, you will: Work with geographic databases and GIS applications. Produce, maintain, and develop map products with high precision according to international standards. Structure and visualize flight data for our digital systems and publications. Participate in verification, processing, and publishing of flight information. Collaborate with both Swedish and international contacts. We continuously work to develop our methods and tools, and we would welcome your contribution of new perspectives and ideas. Who Are You? We believe you are curious about technology, digital maps, and geographic information, and that you enjoy creating clear and well-crafted graphic products. You are a natural team player and are equally comfortable working in a group as independently. You don't need to know everything from the start—what matters most is that you have an interest in the field and a willingness to learn and develop. Since we work in an organization where quality and safety are important, we believe you are thorough, responsible, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You also have: An academic education with a focus on GIS, media technology, data technology, or information technology. Alternatively, other education that we consider equivalent. Experience with GIS tools. Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Knowledge of databases and programming is a merit. Additional Information This position is a permanent employment based in Norrköping. We may apply a 6-month probation period. The role involves significant on-site presence.
